    Senior year, no friends.
This is my third year at this school, and also my last year of High School. When I started this school I knew one person, and she never said one word to me. I made a few friends but lost touch over the summer. My second year I had a few friends but still not many. They were my friends to have lunch with and talk to during free time, but I never saw them out of school. Now I'm about to start another year and it's like starting at a new school again, not having any friends. But it's worse because I'll have been there for three years but still don't have any friends and everyone knows that. Before I moved to this school I never had trouble making friends. I don't know what happened over the move, but I seem to have lost my social skills. I dred having to go to school and not have friends again. I want my last year of High School to be something worth remembering.

A question that you should ask yourself, is that are you approachable? Because someone out there might like you for you but is afraid of talking to you because you don't make eye contact for example.

The key to making and keeping good friends is the same as for health and fitness: Self-respect. I don't know what has got you doubting your worth, but it would be good if you could talk to somebody about it. Maybe the school counselor? It doesn't matter who it is as long as you trust them.
