    Charged Off Debt
After a debt has been charged off by your credit card company is it possible to go back to them to make a settlement with them?

This is a common misconception. Charging off a debt has NO effect on your obligation to pay. It is purely a tax maneuver on the part of the creditor. Yes, you can go back and offer a settlement.
