I was in a car accident with a logging truck a little over two years ago and still have significant pain in my neck and shoulders as well as two slipped disk in my neck. It has affected me both physically and mentally and has changed my life. I live in Washington state and was told that 3 years is the limit for a settlement. My auto insurance paid for most of my medical bills but set a limit on the doctor visits. My neck is not any better. What is a fair settlement for a car accident with injuries? And if a settlement is offered do I have to accept it?

I would have long ago hired an attorney and your car insurance company had no business even paying any claims, remember if their insurance pays for your medical bills, your car insurance company will expect to be paid back normally, so keep that in mind on your settlements.
