Easiest and most efficient way is to add more ram but this can get expensive depending on how new the computer is. There are a couple different way other than that but I'd need to know your operating system. I have 2 years of college computer training so feel free to ask.

    1. Add more RAM (If you've got 512MB or less, and a decent processor, this will probably speed it up significantly)
    2. Defragment your hard drive
    3. Free some space on your hard drive
    4. If you've got more than one hard drive, use the second drive for your swapfile
    5. If you're on Windows, click Start, run, and type msconfig, and press enter. Go to the startup tab, and disable anything you don't need. A quick search of the name on Google should tell you what something does, and if you need it or not.
