No. I am trying to replace the pull cord that broke. I can't het the housing off because the pulley or whatever it is called has to be removed and I can't figure it out. Do I need a special tool to remobe it or what.
    Thanks

If you are trying to remove the pull rope pulley, yes it takes a special tool, although you can improvise. We done ONE of these in the shop and will NOT do another. If you allow the spring to pop loose, you are in a MESS. Good Luck, and Best Wishes. Ha ha ha.

That wasn't really the response I was hoping for! Thanks for your frankness. I think I'll trash it since Iv'e had more frustrations with it by taking it apart than what its worth.
    Thanks

    doninimv,
Yes I was frank about it, but I am telling you if someone brings us one with a broken pull rope, we send it to our competitor, and tell them we do not want to work on it, but appreciate them bringing it to us first. Then we have now found out that our competition also will not put a rope in one of these units. So in our town, the customer is pretty much out of luck on anyone fixing the pull rope for them. But hey, labor is high, and it comes to a cost vs worth issue here. And the cost is always more.
