    Probation law
    I am on unsupervised probation and I just moved to another state but I haven't notified them yet what will happen when I notify them since I am already in another state?

    Hard to tell without knowing what the conditions of your probation are. What are they? Are you supposed to notify your probation officer when you move? Usually, when you are on probation, you cannot so much as travel to another state unless it is for work purposes or other important reasons, and you also have permission to do this via the court that has jurisdiction over your case.

    What can happen?? Anything from being violated and sent to jail, to your transfer being accepted without a thought.

    You moved to another state without at least informing your PO? What the heck were you thinking??

    You need to contact them immediately and hope they don't issue a warrant for you.
