    Thermostat replacement
    I have a mechanical thermostat. On the faceplate it has GMC. On the wall plate it has JANITROL. I want to switch to a digital programmable thermostat. What's a compatible model?
    I have a heath pump(cooling/heating) with emergency heat.

    You can choose from a variety of thermostats, pay a little more and get a good one.Ask for a heat pump thermostat with two stage heat, Honeywell, White rogers, Total line are good names. Good luck, Mike
