I heard this guy tell a story about how he went to this restaurant, asked the waitress for a coffee, no cream.

To which she replied, "You're gonna hafta have a coffee, no sugar. We're outta cream."

I didn't believe it...

Then, yesterday, I was going through the drive-thru at my favorite fast food chain, ordered myself a beverage and a sandwich, light lettuce.

There was a pause... I thought he doing the math and was going to come back on and tell me the total... after that longer than normal pause, he came back on and said, "All we have is regular lettuce, OK?"

I thought about it for a moment and then I said, "Yeah, this time. Just don't put too much on."
