About the depo needle?
Hi I used to be on the pill some time back for a few years but
Always forgot to take it so I decided the best thing to do was go and get the needle
I have been on it now nearly 9 months and I never got my period all that time apart from now.
I'm fine with that but I've just seen on this site all these people going on the pill and depo
Saying they find it hard to get pregnant!
Is there any chances I won't be able to have children later on in life?
Please help I want kids.. :)

Depo Provera can take up to a year to fully be out of your system. You can still get pregnant after using this method of birth control, but it may take longer to conceive than if you use other methods of birth control.
If you want to get pregnant anytime soon, but not right this minute, I would suggest switching to another form of birth control. If you still have a while before you want to have kids, then keep using it, but keep this delay in pregnancy in mind, no matter what you do. :)

Not having your period while on the Depo shot is normal... that is how the medication functions, so there is nothing to worry about there.
As far as you getting pregnant... yes, as nauticalstar420 said, it can take 12-18 months to get out of your system. If you like the Depo shot as birth control you can keep using it, just plan ahead... when you think you see kids in the next year or so... stop Depo and switch to another form of BC... this will still keep you protected from pregnancy but will allow time for the Depo to clear your system by the time you are ready for children.

You will be able to get pregnant, but when you do decide that you want to, make sure you account for that 12 month "waiting period" for the Depo to be out of your system. :)

Depo does make you put on a lot of weight doesn't it?
I was thinking of going back onto the pill it's a special pill that makes you losse weight as well as protects you from falling pregnant do you think this would be a good idea?
I have heard depo make you put on wight and since I've been on it I've put on a lot.

It really depends on the person... I have heard of a lot of people that gain weight when they are on the shot... I, however, didn't gain any weight. You have admitted that you had trouble remembering to take the pill, so I would be cautious... 1 missed pill and you could get pregnant. There are a lot of options out there for BC. If you think you can come up with a routine and remember to take the pill, then go for it. There is also the patch (which I tired, but didn't work for me because it kept moving), and there are IUD's... just think about what you are wanting (aside from not getting pregnant) from a BC method. Like do you not want periods (shot)... do you want something that will get out of your system quickly (pill)... do you want something you don't have to hassle with (IUD)... check the pro's and con's of all :)
