Implantation bleeding how long does it last
Hi ,
I was just wondering how long does implantation bleeding last? My situation is my ovulation date was July 26th and my period was due August 11th... I ahd inter course on the 26 and 27th which was the days I was ovulating.. well the 5th of August I had some brown spotting that lasted for 4 days... it was very light and I didn't need to use any sanitary pads or panty liners it actually only showed when I used the restroom... it ended about the 9th and my period was due the 11th.. today is the 15th and my period still has not came... could this be implantation bleeding or is it just a very light abnormal period.. also 2 days ago I had some cold and flu like symptoms and I have been very tired and exhausted and sometimes when I stand I get very light headed tell me what you think?? :confused: :confused: |

Implantation bleeding is very rare, if it even does happen. As J_9 says (I don't want to steal her lines), it has not been scientifically proven that this even does happen.
You could however just be experiencing irregularity to your cycle. Have you been taking anything for your cold/flu? If you feel you have missed a period due to pregnancy, wait about 14 days after the missed period and take an HPT, using your first morning urine, or you can request a blood test from your doctor. If you skip two periods, and have been proven to not be pregnant, you may want to get together with your doctor to discuss this issue. :) |
