If rewired for Ignition switched, 2 things will happen, when key is turned off, cooling will stop. Also will take longer for engine to get to operating temperature.
If you want that. You will have to resupply relay with Ig power, instead of Bat power.
Then disconnect wires on radiator sensor, and connect(bypassing sensor)
To determine correct sensor. Unplug sensor in question, if fan goes out, it is correct sensor.
Any time key is on. Fan will be on. When car is turned off, fan will go off.

Please explain. If the fan does not come when you turn the key on, and it continues to run after key is off. It is a battery circuit(Always live). And if it shuts down after key is off,
It is Ignition switched, Fan will only come on when the key is on and sensor
    Is past temperature.
If so, pull relay, find the ignition switched for the relay. Put tone, or identify Fan power, insert Jumper.
If I was you, I would give me a green, to counter your red. When you find solution, you
Might? Give red mark. Doing it before makes you look like an .
You could have multiple sensors, could be on engine.
Does the manufactures design flaw(for which you found solution) show they don't know what they are talking about?

kitch428, you are most honorable, Was hoping they they could do same. If it didn't help him, it may help someone. Knew he had less than 10 post. I will say, I am getting very good at not letting Touretts Syndrom Symptoms run all over my last page.
He reminds me, you can't get away from anything.

Thanks, but you know... you said it simple enough. Anyone with enough common knowledge to use a test light to determine ign power, to key off power, to ground, should get this.
It seems original posters use the least amount of keys possible on their keyboard to ask a question?? Like... ok, OP, in 1992, how many different kind of chevy's were made?
Can't you even type in a model and engine to give us clues.
    [ok, rant mode off]

    To stratmando
I didn't mean that you was wrong but you have to realize I don't know a thing a about cars
I meant just to cut one wire ande splice into another.
    Thank you
