    1988 Jeep Idle
    :confused: I have a 1988 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.2 inline six. It has a carb. I can't get it to idle. When pull up to stop light it quits, I can restart it and it will idle, it has manual 5 speed transmission.

    Try rebuilding the carburetor.
