    Angle Stops Problems?
I have a bathroom sink that has no water, only a drip coming from it. It's a standard 2 handle faucet. While reading other questions, it occurred to me that my problem may be the angle stops being clogged. If this is the case, can I unscrew the valve at the point where the red arrow is in the picture to see if it is clogged. If this is not the case, what other problems could be causing this? This bathroom is in a basement. I have good water pressure from the toilet and shower, and also the rest of the house.

Thanks in advance for the help!

If you do not have any water from the faucet on either side ,hot or cold, I would think that the stoppage is in the faucet and not in the angle valves. But to answer your question, yes that is where you unscrew the valve to see if there is trash in it, just make sure that you have turned off the water to the system before you take the valve apart. Not back to the faucet, have you checked the aerator? And have you taken the faucet apart to see if there was trash in the faucet? You can turn off the water at the angle valve, take a stem out of the faucet, if it has stems, or take out the cartridge if that is what it has, cover the faucet to keep the water from going every where and turn the angle valve back on to see it you get water out of the faucet. This may wash out anything that is in the faucet.
Let me know if this helps.
