    Do you have to be licensed to get bonded & insured
    I am starting my own construction cleaning business and I wanted to know if I have to be licensed before I get insured and bonded?

    Check with your local and state ordinances about that. Calling your city's clerk of court will lead you to the person you need to talk to. Usually the city engineeer or building inspector. I would say that yes, you should be licensed if you are going to become insured and bonded.

    What difference does it make, if you have to get a license anyway? Instead of asking this question, I'd be filling out applications for my license...
