    mass and energy is interchangeable...
    The famous formula created by Albert Einstin
    E= M C^2
    Where E= Energy , M = Mass , and C = Speed of Light ( Constant )

    hi
    the law is due to Einstein n not Newton
    E = mc^2
    basically it comes as a result of theory of relativity.so no flight is involved.
    I hope it will help.

    I mean mass change into energy , or energy change into mass
    should use E = M * C ^2

    Newton law stay the F = ma + dm/dt v
    but that will not lead us to think mass can change into energy,
    :p

    According to Einstein's theory of relativity mass and energy are interconvertible.For this purpose the following relation is used.
    Energy = (mass)X(square of speed of light)
    According to this relation mass and energy can not be destroyed but they can be interconverted.The speed of light is aproximatelly 30,00,00,000 m/s.
