    Back Yard Spigot
    My Back Yard Spigot seems to be stripped. How do I replace it?

    What's stripped? The handle just keeps turning? They make a handle that's made for stripped stems. Is this your complaint? Tom

    Yeah, it is just the handle. I managed to get it off. It seems the spout is a part of the pipe in the wall. I'm going to see if I can find a replacement handle. Does that sound about right?

    Take a look at the splines on the stem. If they're rounded off you might have to get a handle that's made for stripped stems. These handles have a pointed screw that digs into the stripped stem and secures the handle. Good luck, Tom
