    Wmp 10
    Hi,
Please don't use these large fonts when typing. It is very hard to read. Please use the normal type fonts, not in bold.
First, I would go to Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs. Look for "Windows Media Technology".
You probably won't find it, but just in case you do, then Remove it, and try reinstalling.
I would delete the .exe file you downloaded for WMP 10, and download another from:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...0/default.aspx
This site will detect your windows operating system, and decide if this particular version is suitable for you. It should be for XP.

    Then, try installing it.
I do wish you the best of luck.
