    What should I do?
I have a 9 year old daughter. Her biological father has only seen her 3 times. I live in Southern Indiana and he lives in Indianapolis, IN. He's about 3-4 hours away. He has paid me a total of 7 child support payments in 9 years. He is court ordered in the county me and my daughter live in to pay me $60 a week. When we went to court back in Dec '06 (that he didn't appear in), he is now a grand total of over $30,000 dollars behind in child support! The judge had sent a warrant out for his arrest that day and to hold him w/no bond until we set up another court hearing. They never have done anything about it! I even had called up to the Indianapolis Poice Dept and gave them his physical address and phone # and STILL NOTHING!! Where is the justice?? I have an attorney, but she moves slower than a turtle and she's also getting ready to have a baby this month. So, she'll be off for quite some time. What should I do? I had even thought of going public with this etc. newspaper, news stations... Any suggestions on what I need or should do?  :(

You have to be he biggest thorn in their side in order for them to do anything. My mother went through the same thing. She was on the phone with the child support enforcement people EVERY SINGLE DAY. Don't let them forget about you.

Go back to court the police have to honor the warrant. Find another attorney. Your children are worth the fight. My dad kept disappearing and my mom hired someone to track him down and delivered him on a platter to child support enforcement. Just keep on top of them. It will pay off. My mom is now receiving all of her arrears money and the checks come every month. He learned she is not one to mess with ;)

By the way my support was supposed to end at 24 I'm now 28 and my mom is collecting over 100 grand in back pay. You can do it!!

Thanks GlindaofOz, but do you think I should go to the media about this? Do you think that might get their attention?

The media ai always an option, but they might not help either. Have you spoken to the captain of the precient where he lives? Have you badgered the judge to get the order and warrant enforced?

The Captain of the precinct where the warrant was issued. I would call him and say a warrant was issued on my ex and so far he has not been brought in. If he is flip about it I would say fine I guess I'll go to the media. You have to be a tough cookie and luckily it sounds like you already are one. Feisty women always get what they want honey. Keep on it be a pit bull grab on and don't let go.
