Janitrol Furnace fault! I Need Expert Knowledge QUICK!
My AC shut off for an unknown reason this morning. I was able to manually push in the contact switch on the AC to verify it worked. From there, I have narrowed it down to my 6 yr old Janitrol furnace. I am showing no blinking LED on the control board and since found out that it means "Gas valve fault detected". I have no idea how to fix this issue! The water heater next to the furnace has gas and I don't know how to reset the fault. Without the furnace (to the best of my knowledge), I have no blower to force the AC cool air through the ducts and out the vents. I have a newborn right now and the house is in the mid 90's with this summer heat. Please, if you have any knowledge of how to assist me, PLEASE HELP! Thank you... mystang2003

No blinking lite, could be you have no power to your furnace or the transformer may be bad, check for a bad fuse on the control board (printed circuit) in the furnace , if you have just changed filters then maybe the panel was not put back on properly, (there is a door switch on this panel)

If you have a new baby in the house I would call for service on your unit right away. Now is not the time to play do it yourself.
