Tenant lease agreement
I am the landlord and now the tenants (bf and gf) are fighting and the girl wants the guy's name off the lease. She said he is willing to take his name off. Can I just write a new lease agreement or add an addendum to the current with both parties consent?

Hello again, truong:
Think about your own pocket first. Right now, you have TWO people on the hook if you're screwed. Why would you want to let one of them off? Their fight has NOTHING whatsoever, to do with you.
If one of them wants to move, let them. Legally, it changes nothing. The remaining party is going to pay the rent - or not - under the current lease. You shouldn't care whether the other person lives there or not. You should care that they're responsible for the rent and damages, as they are now. I'd keep it that way.

Hello Apartment Consultant:
If you have information to give, THIS is the place to give it... Unless, you're trying to make a buck, and you are...
Dude, we don't do that here. I think it's against the rules. I think you were told that once already. If you don't obey THESE rules, why should someone trust that you're going to tell them the RIGHT landlord tenant rules?
I don't think anybody would.

Another member posted an response to your question but instead of answering he suggested you go to his website. This is advertising which is against the site rules. The post was reported and deleted, but excon's response wasn't deleted so it looks strange as an orphan.
