Conceived date
I'm really confused about my conceived date as they say I conceived on the 27th March 2007 but I came on my period on the 29th March so how can that be right?

You can still bleed after conception. Many women bleed early on in pregnancy, and mistake it for a period, and never realize they are pregnant. But chances are, you will never know the exact day of conception. Seeing as sperm can live inside for a few days, you could have sex, and not conceive that day. The conception day really isn't all that important anyway.

But I've used a calculation calendar and that's saying I conceived the 12th April?

Let me explain a little better... You can conceive at any time... it doesn't matter if you are on your period or finished it two days ago. Any time in your cycle is fair game... now there are days where it is more likely that you can conceive (when you are more fertile) but really, like I said before sperm can live inside the woman's body for days...
All those calculators do is give you an estimate of when it was likely you conceived... but there is no real way to know. You can count back 40 weeks from the time you gave birth, and still not get the right date... sorry, but that's just the way it works. Its all just a bunch of guessing... typically though, it will be within a few days..

You are probably a little farther along than me right now... did they give you a date after measuring the baby via ultrasond? This will actually be pretty accurate, but maybe not right on. Glad I could help. Good luck.

Like alkalineangel said, you can't 100%, for sure, tell when you conceived. But the most accurate way of telling how far along you are is by your ultrasound, around 20 weeks.
For example, you go to your ultrasound and they tell you that you are 21 weeks and 6 days. On that same day, count back 21 weeks and 6 days, you see? It still won't be 100% accurate, but it's the most accurate you're going to get.
