I have met this lovely guy online. (rare that nice guys are found online). He is funny, employed, in uniform, not a sex maniac and we can talk about a lot of different things. We talk on the phone as well as online. He rings me at work occasionally. I have to be strong... I am not going to call him although I wish I could. He has not called or text'd me today... I am not going to call him. If he wants to talk to me he will call me.

Getting Tired of playing hard to get but if I want him I have to let him chase me. Why is this dating stuff so hard?

Maybe I am meant to be single and celibate. Damn it.

Why is it so important to play hard to get? Maybe the reason he stopped calling is because he was tired of that. Being a guy, I know that it can be frustrating when a girl shows interest and then makes me constantly work. It makes me feel like the girl has no desire to move the relationship forward.

You do have to give a little and then pull back. That's really how it all works. However, its not necessary to hear from someone every day so I wouldn't stress it too badly.

Give yourself a break for God's sake! Dating is hard but the payoff is pretty cool. Just relax and stop looking for the one, it makes it a lot easier. I used to always look for the one and dating was so hard once I stopped it became fun again. I'm sure you are an adorable, smart, funny lady so just have a good time and worry about the other stuff when it's the right time. Worry is like a rocking chair it gives you something to do but doesn't get you anywhere :)
