    This Site is Complicated
Do you have any tips on how to use this site to its fullest? Like the columns next to the questions... seems one can post faces and make ratings. What's it about??

    Any other suggestions??

Use what site, Choux? Askmehelpdesk.com? If so, J9's the brain of it all (:)); but ratings is a pretty cool idea...

You can make a signature and edit your profile, also you can "quote user". Other than that, the smilies and rating system that you menioned is pretty much it. Oh, I almost forgot, you can upload an avatar. :)

    Yeah right!! LMFAO

Can you get a little more in depth? You mean the pics? The signatures? I would be very happy to help, but I am not sure exactly what you are asking.

Well, like a 'rating' of each individual answer... that way, anyone can read through a question, and rate an answer from their point-of-view.

You can already rate each thread if you choose to do so. I'm not sure about rating each individual answer though. That is sort of what the rep system is for. But if the answers were rated 1-5 stars like the threads, that would be kind of cool.:p

Yah, then the person who answered the question can see the 'consensus' opinion of the answer you give! :)

Okay many people answer using the quick answer feature. When using this you do not have access to the faces. ;) :p ;) Rather than use the Answer this Question button.

To get a picture next to your name you must use the my profile button and click on Edit Profile.

Now if you want to rate someone's answer as helpful or not, and this is a very thin line, so be careful when disagreeing with someone, you better have facts to back it up, click the Rate This Answer Button.

I do have one question. I read something earlier and now I cannot find it. It was something about your rank or reputation or something like that, it is supposed to be in the top left corner of each of your posts, but I don't see it there.

Sorry if you don't know what I'm talking about.. lol

Ok; Choux just inspired me to think-- like a little box in the right-hand corner of all answers that says something like, "Agree:" "Disagree:". Forgive my mind, it loves to wander... :)

    WOW, that was fast!

I mean on the page where the questions are listed, to the left of the topic of the question there are two columns... what are they for?? What does one post there?

The one with the "bubbles" shows if it is a hot question, whether you have posted to it, if it has new answers, etc.

The other column is a space where you can post icons.

Scroll all the way to the bottom and it gives you a list of what all of the little "bubbles" mean

You're welcome! And when you ask a question, under the box to type in it should say "post icons" and those are the icons you can put next to the title. :)
