Letter to committee on keeping a pet
I have a condo in Florida that does not permit pets. My wife & I are in our 70's and we adopted a mini-poodle(under 10 lbs) that has become a calming influence upon my wife and I. We want to take the dog with us when we go to Florida. I am looking for the proper content of a letter for my regular doctor to use in a letter to the Condo Board indicating the necessity of permiting us to keep the dog with us. Can anyone help?

I can't help you with the letter but have you tried talking to the owner of the condo? Sometimes even if they say there is a no pet policy they will allow one animal within a certain weight and maybe a additional deposit.
If you don't get to keep the dog maybe you and your wife can volunteer to help out at a shelter. Good luck to you.
