    Hello muna:

I don't know about Canada, but here in the US, you just pick another doctor.

excon, you know very well that in Canada they have a different medical system than we do in the U.S. Muna, I would suggest that you speak with co-workers, friends, family, neighbors, and find out what doctors they would recommend. I know that doctors in Canada are pre-interviewing patients and it can be difficult to make an appointment if they aren't accepting new patients. You can also call the Ontario Ministry of Health. They should tell you what doctors are available to you in Toronto. Here is a link:

P.S. Excon, we going to play doctor again? Glad we got the spanking thing sorted out.

Both excon and Ruby make valid points.

Doctors are still taking new patients in Toronto, although if you are older, then it might be harder to find.

I know for example, my Doctor and his partner, both are accepting only new patients under 50 so as to balance out their practice so not to have a huge majority of older patients.
