Mom doesn't want to give me the big room
OK I'm 14 and live with my mom and dad and brother and sister. The problem is that I want the big room that my brother and sisster have been sharing. The thing is that my mom says no. she's going to give it to my little sister that's like 7 and I told her I'm going to be leaving this house sooner than her so she can have it all to herself when I leave, but she says no. I don't know why. All I know is that I want the big room so badely. And I don't want my sister having it cause first of she's too small and like I'm bigger so it looks weird. My mom always wants me to be mature. I don't know what to do to convince her she seems very determined. ANY IDEAS HELP!.

Are you male or female? Do you have your own room now? Answer these questions and I should be able to help put things into perspective for you.

Hey Jojo, never mind. I remember you now. I thought you were 15.? You were the one who had the (drinking) party on a Friday night and didn't want to include a girlfriend of yours because you thought she was too goody-goody and ruin your night.

Is it possible that you are in the doghouse with your mother?

*Edit: I just saw the edit you did to your post.

Sounds like your mother is trying to get you to be a responsible teen. I don't know if you have gotten into some trouble with your folks over some of the stuff you have done, but if you have, that is the reason why she won't give you the large room. She is telling you to act mature. So, it is a simple solution. Start acting responsibly and mature. Don't talk back. Don't wait for her to ask you for help with things, just help out. Start helping more around the house, spend time with your family, be the older sister who helps the younger ones. Don't lie, don't manipulate situations to get what you want, and don't talk back to your folks.

One thing you need to know is, sometimes, we don't always get what we want. It is a fact of life. But if you make attempts to show your mother that you are being a responsible person, not drinking & partying, making excuses for bad behavior, treating people unkindly,. do the things that are expected of you, you might find that your parents are more willing to reward you for good (responsible) behavior.
