Hi,
I involved in a car accident , looks it will be my fault.but not sure.Now the other person is seeking compensation for his personal injuries happened in the accident.

So far I haven't contacted the attorney/lawyer but informed my insurance.But my liability is very low 50k to 100k , I doubt whether that will be enough for my oppenent's claim.What insurance company will do if the opponent try to get compensation which will be more my liablity coverage?do I need to pay it ? If I cannot afford to pay then what will happen?

If my opponent tries to sue me, what should I do ? I am from Asia who is working in US with valid Working Visa , I don't proper Bank Balance , working here with a very low salary & savings.I need to go back to my country after 8-9 months.

It will be appreciated if someone can guide me.. Thank you very much in advance

I don't know a lot but my dad is a lawyer and I think if they are going to try to get so much money out of you, you should hire a lawyer to fight it. It will cost some money but probably will save you a lot more.

Did you talk to your Insurance company about this and what you may need to do? They should really be your first step
