Approximately 4 years ago I added a bathroom to our house. The existing bathroom had and still does have incredible shower pressure. The new bathroom has the complete opposite pressure = virtually none. It has a Delta faucet with the scald guard feature = two handles where one controls pressure (none) and the other temperature. I have tried virtually every shower head there is and have even gone without a shower head. The problem is not the shower head. I have taken the faucets apart multiple times and I can't seem to find anything that would allow me to boost the pressure. Are there any other options I can explore before I tear out the wall and put a whole new one in? (I just grab an old shower faucet mechanism from a house built in 1970. Maybe this will work?)

How was the pressure without the head on? Inside the shower head is a triangler washer. It is a water saver. All newer heads will have them in them. Remove it and see if you have any better pressure.

With the head off the pressure still was terrible. I have done all that can possibly done with regards to the head. I'm wondering if there is something going on with the type of faucet mechanism. It has the "scaldgaurd feature" (Delta) where one handle controls pressure and the other temp. I'm thinking I may have to open the wall and replace this whole faucet mechanism but I'm looking for an easier solution.

Call the person who istalled it the pipes are probably off center it cause a leak and then water damage. Call him soon.
