New thermostat, Furnace ignites fire but no heat
    Hi
My furnace and thermostat was working fine until two weeks ago. So I replaced the thermostat and the heat started working for the first day then it stopped. I tried to turn up the degrees on the thermostat and I checked the furnace. The electric ignitor was working fine and there was fire going through but no heat.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

I believe the furnace is about 20 years old and it's a Rheem brand.

Need more information, did the flames come on and stay on? Did the fan come on? How long did the flames stay on? Did the igniter shut off after the flames came on?

Once I turn on the thermostat, the furnace electric igniter click a few times and there was blue fire. The fire would remain on until I turned the thermostat off. No fan or blower started.

I tried to turn off the electric and gas on the furnace and restart it again but it didn't help. I also reset the thermostat but nothing work.

    Thanks

Sounds like you have a bad blower motor in your furnace. This motor comes on through either a fan-limit switch or the heating relay on a printed circuit board, if you have the newer style furnace, if you can not turn this fan on at the thermostat then I would suspect the motor. If you have a volt meter you could check voltage at the leads to the motor when you turn it on at the stat.
