Divorce: Quit claim deed under duress
My husband will only try reconciliation if I sign a quit claim deed to our marital property. If this reconciliation does not work out, will I be able to claim duress? We reside in NYS.

No, since you are considering it, at this point, just questioning it shows you are not being forced, but have free wlll to sign or not to sign.

If that is the only way he will try and work things out, hire a divorce attorney, he is just trying to cheat you.
