I want to change an old Honeywell thermostat (connected to a General Electric Heating
& Cooling device) by a new one (Meitav ERT100-LC)

There are 6 wires available in the wall with the following colors:

Red, Brown, Orange, Grey, Green, Blue

The old thermostat is wired as follows:
--------------------------------------------
Red and Brown wires connected to "R" of the Honeywell thermostat
Orange and Grey wires connected to "W"
Green wire connected to "Y"
Blue wire connected to "G"
There is also a "B" that is connected to nothing


The new thermostat has the following 7 ports:

1) with the symbol ~ and 230VAC
2) with the symbol 0
3) with the symbol RE and the indication "COMPRESSOR"
4) with the symbol HE and the indication "HEAT PUMP"
5) with the symbol LO and the indication "LOW SPEED - INDOOR FAN"
6) with the symbol ME and the indication "MEDIUM SPEED - INDOOR FAN"
7) with the symbol HI and the indication "HIGH SPEED - INDOOR FAN"

I would like to know how to connect the 6 colored wires of the wall to the new thermostat.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you have the wrong thermostat, this appears to be line voltage ,you need 24 volts.Look at the old thermostat for a voltage, the wiring is also not consistent with the normal method of wiring. (two wires on same terminal and wrong colors) What type of equipment do you have?
