I have an ice maker in my freezer. The water runs through it, fills the freezer and spills over to the fridge. What should I check for this situation?

Check that the fill arm is shutting off. Move it on and off several times and then check to see if shutting off. Next check the water fill valve on bottom back side of unit and make sure it shuts off. If water valeve not shutting off replace. If icemaker not shutting off yooou can remove module and see if you think you can repair but many times eaiser to replace the icemaker
