    Changing a Receptacle to standard plug?

    Hi, Brand New here so bear with me..... I purchased a Tripp Lite IBR-12 Transient Voltage Surge Supressor. It has 12 outlets. It has a 3-prong receptacle plug. Is it possible to either replace it with a standard household 3-prong plug or is there an adapter that can be used? Thanks, Mike

    Not sure your question? Not sure I know difference between 3 prong receptacle plug and
    Standard household 3-prong plug?
    There are cords so when you plug in, it has a recpticle on cord where you plug into wall,
    So as not to loose a receptacle? Am I close?

    Hi, sorry if I`m too vague. Not quite sure on what these are all called. What I would like to do is take the plug (A) & replace it with (B). A is 20A 125V. Or maybe there is some kind of adapter to use. Hope this helps & Thanks, Mike

    You can install 20 Amp male plug, where a twist lock was, or change receptacle to twist lock, May be safer and easier.
    And,
    I believe they make an adapter for that.

    Yes, they do. Go to a marine supply store like West Marine of BoatUS and show them these pics.
