Fast food.
Why does everyone like fast food?
Is it because it is fast?
Or is it because some people are too lazy to wait at a reasturant?

Those responses would be one and the same. I don't like it and haven't had fast food in months, the only time ill have it is if I'm actually on the way somewhere and can't stop for an hour.

After a full day of driving to work, 8 hrs. at work, picking up the kids, I believe it is just faster for some people to stop off and get a bag full of quick foods that the kids will like, like "kids meals", instead of get home after all that and starting to cook, eat, wash dishes, and then settle the kids in. Not the healthiest choice but every now and then people just want a break. When all 4 of my kids we at this stage, even though I definitely knew better, dealing with Nutrition Issues all day, McDonalds was my best friends on really busy days!

Sometimes I just need a break from the kitchen, and just by something along the way, but very seldom though

The fact is that most fast food is very good. Any food you didn't have to stand and cook after a long hard day at work is good in my book. But most ordinary people would agree that once a week is enough. I have the grandkids around for a stay over on Friday nights, we call it our movie night - and I certainly look forward to my take-away.

There's another side to this, why do kids and some adults like fast food more than fresh fruit and vegetables?
Because it's full of all the things that we need in nature, fat and carbs are very good energy sources, and we need energy, stacks of it, so our bodies have evolved to make them taste nice. Also salt is fairly rare in the wild and is something that is needed too, so that also tastes nice.
Sadly, nowadays we just don't need the energy for tracking the animal and hunting it, so it just piles around our waists, but we are still left with the taste.

Someone told me that I should be giving a balance of wet dog food and dry dog food each week and not just dry dog food all the time. He told me that too much dry food can cause constipation. Is this true? Also, which brands are considered low grade dog food?
