    1980's children's movie
    Hi,

    I am trying to find the name of this movie, it was either from the 1980's or early 1990's. It was my sons favorite movie at the time, he is now 25. The problem is the only thing about the movie either he or I can remember is these kids had built a snow fort and they were having some kind of play battle and this dog either was buried in the snow and they were digging it out. That's all we can remember. I would love to get the name of the moviwe so I could try to find out if its onvhs or dvd and I could purchase it for my son. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    I have had one response and it does outline the movie correctly but its an animated version and the one we saw was real not animated. It also seemed canadian from what I remember as this animated version is.

    I believe you may be looking for the 1984 French Canadian animated flick La Guerre des tuques, which in English seems to mean "The War of Those Funny Snow Hats Mentioned in that Song by the McKenzie Brothers". It's available in an English-dubbed version known as The Dog Who Stopped the War.
