    Knot on sons balls
About a month ago my 6 year old was bitten by a tick on his balls my mother and law said she pulled the tick out head and all with some twizzers, his balls were red and had a knot on them I took him to the doctor the next day to have it examined well the doctor gave him some antibotics and said to come back if the swelling didn't go down.
I gave him the antibotics like I was so post to and was under the impression that the knot went away because my son didn't mention it again and is not to happy if I check him (I guess just being a boy) but today I noticed that the knot was still there it wasent swollen just hard what could this be?
Could this be from the tick or something else.
He hasent been feeling to well lately so I'm worried that its something more.
My mother his real grandmother died from childhood leukemia when she was 26 I told the doctors about this when he was born and didn't think it was a problem.

You son should be check for Lyme disease. I'm not sure why the knot is still there but he needs to go back to the doctor.

It might just be an abscess. I mentioned Lyme disease only because you said he was feeling ill still. Have you tried Webmd symptom checker yet?
