Notice to reply an answer to a credit card suit
My parents are both elderly and my father is disabled and mom has lost her job as well. The credit card compony is suing for almost 6000.00 we live in Texas. My question is, does anyone know how to reply with an answer to a court, as my parents can not afford an attorney. The citation said they must respond in writing in gave no date of appearance in a court. Can they take their home car or attach their bank account. Please help as I am worried sick for them.

Theu must file of Notice of Intent to Defend, or the credit card co will obtain a default judgment. File Request of hearing also.

No credit card co. must appear in court at that hearing, they must have the original contract that was signed, no clntract, no claim.

Also, the plainitff must be present in the court, no plainti , no case, attorney cannot testify for their client, hearsay.
