No hot water pressure in entire house
We lost hot water pressure in our entire home a few weeks ago. Cold water is full pressure, just hot is not. We can barely even run a shower. The entire house has no hot water pressure. We need to try something. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Are you on a well or on city provided system? If you have a cut off above the water heater, turn it off and then put a water hose on the drain valve at the bottom of the heater. Open the valve and then turn the cut off valve back on, if you have very good pressure coming out of the hose that means that your problem is further down the line and not the incoming pressure to the heater. Now it could be possible that you will not get much water out of the hose because of a build up of deposits in the bottom of the heater, if so turn the water off again and take the drain faucet apart and try to clean some of the trash out and then put it back together and try again.
If you are adept enough to take the pipes off the water heater you might find a stoppage either where the water enters the heater or where it goes out of the heater on the hot side.
If you still have problems let me know I have another thing for you to try.
