    Landlord problems
I requested some repairs, roof is leaking and can't open windows, she wants to raise my rent only after a few months. I had to buy a new fridge because she wouldn't. But she will buy a new stove. Does not make any sense? And now she want's me to move. I know it's not legal, she is 93 yrs old and I and other renters find her spying on everyone with binoculars through her windows when we are outside. I find that to be very strange. She will call on anyone if there is a stick on there lawns, just anything. I use to have all these appliances, before I moved in and she told me I could use her dryer that is located on her porch, but she fussed about 4 cat hairs. I don't use her dryer anymore. She even put them on a paper towel and showed all the neighbors. They were amused over something petty as that. I hang them or go else where. I get along with all my neighbors, one of them is my best friend and told me about the cottage. None of us want to go to her to pay rent anymore. We are all sending it registered mail next time. She threatens us that her son is a lawyer and her daughter is in real estate. I finally told her, "Have them call me, I would like to talk to them about your behavior." That kept her quite. I know she is up in age and is lonely, but dang. This is mainly a statement, but any input would be helpful.

Do you have a lease? If not then I would just see about finding somewhere else to live if I were really unhappy.
