Weather anomaly?
Or Global Not Warming?
Today, Jacksonville, Florida, set a new record low temperature that's been in place since 1965. Today's low here was 64 F, which beat the old low of 65 F.
I think I'll break out my ski gear... and where's my mittens?:D

LOL, we had a record low here yesterday too. It was 81, the record low (I forgot when) was 87.
I actually spent some time outdoors yesterday. It was really nice.

Hey Captain! I didn't know we set a record low here in Jax. New info to me.. lol. Have you been noticing the T'storms that have been coming through? Sheesh! The back lot of my apartment complex flooded the other day, flooding the apartments and a couple of cars. Its ridiculous!

Yeah we are having the best snow season for years down under here. It is freezing. We also had our coldest summer day in over 100 years last December.

So do I. I hate winter with a passion. I hate the cold. When I say it is freezing down here it is nothing compared to what you guys get. It is probably around 12 deg celsius. Not sure what that converts to in your terms.
We got lots of tropical areas down here though if you want to come for a visit. Head to Port Douglas or Cairns around this time of year for a really warm time. Plus you can swim on the Great Barrier Reef.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed. A helicopter ride over it is also an awesome experience.

That sounds like a lot of fun. There isn't much out of the ordinary to do here, except tour the Everglades.

It gets in the 90's here, and where I'm originally from (California) it can get up to 102 degrees! (not sure what that is in Celsius)

Yes when I'm in California I feel like I'm roasting.. lol. But I'd still rather take it over cold weather.

I've spent some time in New England, and I, for one, don't miss the frozen door locks and black ice! I can't remember when I last owned an icescraper!
But, I do miss the downhill skiing... ;-(

I went skiing once and fell on my butt too much. About a bruised butt and a million falls later, I decided I didn't want to ski anymore.. lol.

Hey, skiing is fun! Like standing still, only faster!
Butt, I mean, but it's not how many times you fall; it's how many times you get up.. lol
