US Soldier abandoned by South Korean wife
My son is in the military and a couple of years ago he was stationed in South Korea. He met and fell in love with a South Korean girl and they married at the US Embassy. He returned to the US, only to be sent to Iraq just a couple of months later. He tried several times to bring her to the states. He saved money for plane tickets and scheduled , then rescheduled his leave dates, but she always cancelled at the last minute sighting "inconvenience" as the reason. He returned to the states for about a year and a half and now is back in Iraq for 21 months. The last time he spoke with her, she finally admitted that she married him just so she could come the states, but when she finally had the opportunity, she decided that it was not what she wanted. He has tried and tried again to reach his wife. She left no forwarding address, she does not reply to e-mails and he has no current phone number for her. What does he need to do to get a divorce? Attorneys here in our home town don't seem to know what to do. Thanks.

I would go for an annulment on the basis of fraud.
