Remote Part for Hampton Bay AC-374WB Fan
Could someone tell me how to buy the back cover to a Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Remote? I bought a house that the kids lost the back to the remote. It works fine but the battery hangs out of the back, using tape right now to hold it. Wanted to find a better way to keep the battery in without paying for a replacement remote.

My experience wit Hampton remotes is tape for now because you could be replacing the remote next year anyway. They fail more often than they should. Strat, wouldn't the couch be with the old owner by now? LOL

Wasn't quit sure if her kids or previous owners kids. If it was previous Owners, then the parents blamed the kids. I don't think the kids went to new owners and said we lost the cover.

So did you lose the cover, or did the previous owner tell you it was the kids?
You have 1 post, left a red mark. There is a name for that.
How 'bout I buy a remote, send you the cover, throw the rest away. Would that make you happy?
Before, you didn't want to buy one, now buying one is fine. Obviously you have not tried to buy cover only. About Impossible. If it was me. I would look in the couch first. Unless previous owners took couch. No one knows, and you won't say.
Nice if remote control your only Problem?

I see only two options for finding one:
1. Call the manufacturer
2. Steal one from the remote of something else you're not using
Personally, I'd just as soon use the tape.

I have never said anything about a couch, the previous owners did NOT leave one behind. I wanted to know of a website or a telephone number of someone that manufactors these kind of remotes. All I am getting is silly answers like this is a childish blog. I thought I would get some serious help on here all it has given me is headache. Forget my question! I would suggest you concern yourself with things you know about!

I have found more covers to remotes than been able to find a back to a remote.

It was not a childish answer. It may have been easiest solution, to look in couch.
Many solutions can be found on this site. None are as difficult as the back to a remote.
Don't give up on this site. Many good people here. I won't answer any future questions.

There is a list of numbers for Hampton Bay in the sticky at the top of the forum, maybe if the original poster wasn't so busy bashing people they would have found what they were looking for.
Although I was scratching my head at the 'couch' suggestion.

About the couch, I was just saying, with past experience, I would look in couch(maybe a possibility), before I would try to obtain another back for that remote(very unlikely)
Oh yeah, I'm not a baby, Poopey Head.
