    GE Ice Maker Drips Water
    Water drips from my GE Icemaker before it freezes the ice and makes the ice
    In bin freeze together. What could be the problem?

    The water valve on back of unit could be bad. If it is not shutting off water will contine to drip in mold causing this problem. Not expensive or hard to to change.Good Luck

I have a modular whirlpool ice maker that's doing some weird things. Initially it wouldn't do anything. Using the diagnostics supplied w the frig/ice maker, the optics system is working OK. So then I went on to diagnose the modular section and, according to instructions, jumpered the thermostat....
