Worried about pre-, I'm very scared
I am a 16 year old male dating a 14 year old female. We've been going out for 7 months now and had sex for the first to no later than a month ago. I've been doing the withdrawl method ( we've done the withdrawl method like 10 times ) and scared if my girlfriend is pregnant. I've heard that pre- does contain sperm and sometimes it doesn't. I've also heard that pre- can contain more sperm then the ejaculation. Is there a high chance of getting pregnant with pre-? She said she has missed her period by 2 weeks now and is going to try to take the home pregnancy test today.she also says her breast hurt, also something I've read about. But, I think she just might maybe be so stressed and worried and scared that maybe she's imagining it. I will appreciate any information, I would like to know anything and everything about pre-, I'm very scared. Please and thank you

She may very well be pregnant. Have you checked the age of consent laws for your state? It is possible that you may get into a heap of big trouble if it is found out that you are having sex.

Now, for her to take the pregnancy test it is very important that she take it first thing in the morning for it to be most accurate.

Pre- doesn't contain more sperm than ejaculation but it does contain some. Withdraw is not a reliable method of contraception and the risk of pregnancy if greater if using this method. Of women using the withdrawal method for one year, approximately 25% will get pregnant sometime during that year. In fact, it is possible to get pregnant the very first time that you use withdrawal. There are several reasons for this. A ¼ teaspoon of semen can contain 100 million sperm or more. That means that if any semen gets near her vagina, there is a significant possibility of pregnancy. So if you pull out just a fraction of a second later than he intended, she could get pregnant. Yes, stess can put periods on hold and hopefully this is the case this time. The withdraw method also doesn't protect againt STI's!! Think of using this method as a way to postpone pregnancy instead of as a way to prevent it!

Never, never, never use the withdrawal method as a source of birth control. If you continue only using the withdrawal method chances of her being pregnant or becoming pregnant are very high.
Yes, pre does contain sperm and you don't know when it is coming out. Because you had sex 10 times in the past month chances of you having sex around the time she was ovulating are also high.
A missed period and sore breasts are two signs of pregnancy, but the only way to be positive is a pregnancy test.
She is young, and missing a period every now and then is normal so don't stress out until she takes the HPT.
For the future, please use condoms and if possible she needs to get on some form of birth control.

The More She Strees About It ( Which Is A Hard Thing Not To Do When You Are 14 And Think You Are Pregnant) The Longer It Can Delay Her Period If She Is Not Pregnant. Stress Can Throw Your Cycle Off, And Also Putting Into Your Mind That You Are. It Kind of "tricks" Your Body And Again Delays Your Period. The Best Thing For Her To Do If Take A Hpt. I Would Take One And Wait A Few Days And Take Another To Be Completely For Sure. Plan Parenthood Gives Free One, If That Is A Possible Option For Her.

Best Of Luck To Both Of You And A Word Of Advice. Use Protection And I Suggest She Does Go To A Plan Parenthood And Get On Birth Control. Raising A Baby Is A Hard Job At My Age ( I Had My Son When I Was 19) I Can't Imagine Trying To Do It At 14.
