What's up everyone? I was reading some of your posts and it's funny you complain about adult time at family functions, because I sit in a really nice spot for now... I am young enough to where I'm not really wanted to be in the adult cirlce, although if I so choose it's there, but I'm way too old for any of my cousins. Mainly because my cousins, or at least the ones I see, are either 3-10, or 30-40, the only cousins that where ever my age where my dads side who I saw once. I have no problem with little tikes, mainly because when you're my age your cool for doing absolutely nothing, which is a definite perk lol. For instance I went golfing with a cousin, and all I did was show him how to swing his club, he's like 8, and in the car ride, I wasn't there for this one but I wish I was, he said "Jarrett's A god", it had my parents laughing for weeks. The only downer for me is that although I like the little ones, I absolutely hate family functions, and I find every possible way of not going, if I do have the misfortune of attending one, I basically just sit in a corner with my step-dad talking about how badly we don't want to be here...

The only other news I have is that my twins are losing and that hurts, and I'm laid up in bed right now from some ankle troubles. I was playing hoops yesterday at the gym, and I heard a loud pop, thought it was broke, luckily it wasn't, I could stand on it and walk on it fine. I still ended up lifting weights on my ankle, I just couldn't run, I could walk semi-okay. However, today the swelling has set in, and basically has stripped me of my mobility, I still plan on going to the gym, but I plan on wrapping it and taking an entire bottle of aspirin.

Aww, wizz, I hope you feel better. I am very glad to hear you are a God, very funny. Teens and young adults make the best influences on kids, they want to be just as cool as you! Right on wizz, get some rest.
Em, wow, I will Google him and find out more!

Em the video was absolutely adorable.!

Wizz, or should I say god, ice on the ankle. That will help get the swelling down. On for 30 minutes off for 30 minutes.

Just got back from the doc, Little J needs 10 more days of meds. Still not gone completely. Good thing I took Math for Nurses, I noticed that the dosage on the prescription was wrong.

And yet... when I was working in admissions, I literally had HUNDREDS of potential nurses tell me that I should admit them even though their math scores were horrid... because "I'm going to be a NURSE! I don't need MATH!!"

    They scared me. A Lot.

LMAO. They don't need math! OMG!!

    No way!!

I have a test the first day of every semester. Got to get an 80% or higher or you are out of the program.

Chemistry is good too. If I didn't take that I would be drowning right now.

Yeah... a lot of people who want to go into nursing don't really want to go into nursing, they just think they do. They want to help people, and nursing is a HARD way to help others.

Most of the people applying for the nursing program should really be candy stripers at the hospital instead.

LMAO, I guess that is why our class went from 48 down to 22 by the end of the first year.

Nursing school is really mini-medical school. We have to learn in 2 years how to cover a doctor's a$$, and math is a big part of that.

Luckily today I understood how to calculate 40 mg/kg/day.

I just don't get people that think tha tthey can go into a career without knowing math.

I don't know a SINGLE career that doesn't use at least algebra at times.

Vacation Bible School! I used to volunteer for that as a teen - what fun. Around here they have it in the evenings. I guess to accommodate working parents.
