    Kenmore Washer
I have a Kenmore Washer that is about 15 years old. It filled up with water and now will not drain. Is it toast?

Did it agitate or just fill with water? Do you hear the motor run?

No it just filled up with water and quit. No motor sound. WHen I got home yesterday I moved the dail around and around and pulled it out again to start and it started working. The rest of wash cycyles worked OK. When finished I tried another load and this time it would not work on cold water, but when I put it on hot water it started working?

Check first to make sure the supply valve is on. Nobody would have shut is off, would they? Check the supply hose on both ends. There should be a screen that may be clogged up. If all that check out check the water valve. It could be bad. The valve only cost about $35 and easy to change. Post back for more help or result, it may help others with same problem.Good Luck
