    For the second questions I can tell you that the utricles and saccules are sensitive to linear acceleration.

    Range of receptors... wow great query



    Well receptors are proteins... and the range of proteins is limited and they get denatured after the critical point

    Thye act best on optimal points..


    As far as the antenae,utricles and saccules are concerned,they are sensitive to air currents ,some higher range wavelengths and lower energy radiations.
