    Rentor rights
If a foreclosure takes place on the owner of said property and there is a tenant leasing the property at auction time does the renter have to vacate or do they have the right to stay until end of lease?

I had to do a little research on this one - and so far I can not find anything on foreclosure. I have found if the property is sold. If you are in a lease, the new owner would honor that lease. If you are month to month - you can be asked to leave.
Now, with foreclosure, I just don't know.
Can you contact the bank or auction company. You should definitely be prepared.
Is this a house or apartments?

The general answer I've seen in other threads is that the lease ends when a house is foreclosed on. The new owner has to take appropriate steps to evict, however, so you might have a month or so after the place is sold. If you don't mind having an eviction on your record.
