My mom has lupus and lukemia. She use to go to the doctors all the time. For the past 3 years she sees people that aren't there. These people are police stalking her, my family members stalking her, her neighbors stalking her and so on...
Well 1 1/2 year(s) ago, my mom flipped out on me, she thought I was stalking her but I was in my room asleep and she woke me up numorous times looking for people in my room and wouldn't let me get any sleep at all. She abused me and put a loaded gun up to my head and said "That I should be better off dead then alieve."
Well the following day she abused me one more time after that and I ran out of her house and never came back. My oldest brother called the cops and told them what happened and they didn't do anything. She refused to go to a mental institution. So my 3rd oldest brother somehow got CPS involved and got her to go there. She was there for 72 hours and acted like everything was OK. Like there is nothing wrong with her at all. So they let her out. She's still like this.
I live with my 4th oldest brother now. But I still hear my mom and him talk on the phone about this situation and its getting to me. The cops won't do anything to her "Its not against the law to be crazy" says the cops.
Is there anything I can do?
What can I do to help her?
How can I ever forgive what she did too me and my family?
How can I help my dad whose been with her for 25 years get over her? Please help me! [/B]

I'm sorry but in my experience the only thing you can do is to have no contact. Harsh I know. But for the sake of your own sanity it is the only answer. You must make a life for yourself. Your mother will only get worse and if the authorities can't do anything, you have no chance. As hard as it sounds you must distance yourself from this impossible situation.
