    Mens yeast infection
I had been checked for STDs about 4 or 5 years ago and at the time I was told I had a yeast infection. I had an odor and rash in my crotch area only, not on the penis. I was told to use some cream and it did go away. Now, about three or four years later the same type of looking rash has appeared in my crotch. It is itchy but doesn't really have the strong odor like last time. I read on a site to use Monistat to treat it. Does that sound right, but at the same time it sounds like I should see a doctor first. I would just like to get this over with and taken care of. Also, is there a cure where I will not get it again down the road?

You are right, you should see a doctor before doing anything. A yeast infection will occur under certain circumstances so all you can do is use preventative measures. Check out this site... Preventing Yeast Infections. It's directed toward women but you can make adjustments!
